Why Pray the Scriptures?

One's pride will bring him low, but he who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor. (Proverbs 29:23)



Let us pray: Father God, I admit my mistakes and sinfulness. I humbly ask for your mercy. May your Holy Spirit empower me to avoid committing further damage. Give me the courage to let go of my failures and move on with my life. Give me the strength and will power to face the challenges of the future. May I live each day at present with dignity and honor. These I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
