Let us pray: Heavenly Father, you have blessed us with the
ability to speak. May we use this special gift properly. Let the words that
come out from our mouths communicate peace. May we use gentle words instead of
harsh ones to avoid hurting others.
Teach us to become discreet and tactful to avoid getting ourselves into
trouble. And let your Holy Spirit guide us in speaking of the truth always.
Amen.
