Let us pray: Dear God, let your holiness enlighten us all the time. May we remember that you are the source of our life and that you created us in your own likeness. May we remember that you have given each and every one of us dignity, conscience, reason and will power beyond all others. We pray that we use these gifts to promote love, justice and peace in this nation. Starting with our leaders, we pray for steadfastness as they end discrimination and injustices in all forms. May the life of our Lord Jesus inspire each child of this land to protect and promote human rights. Amen.
