Let us pray: Father God, in this time of financial uncertainty, grant me Lord your wisdom so that I may do the rightful things. I am grateful Lord that I get to keep my work in spite of the recent economy’s downfall. Teach me Lord to spend my money only when necessary and to save as much as I can. Help me Lord, not to be tempted with extravagant things and act like a hypocrite, pretending that I am capable and rich. May I value my earnings and use it in more important things in the future. Likewise, instill in me Lord the virtue of charity and kindness to those who are in desperate situations. Amen.
