Let us pray: God most gracious, when you gave your only son
Jesus to the human race, everyone sang with gladness. Thank you for your
faithfulness and for keeping your promise. Today I want to rejoice and
celebrate just like the way I welcomed Jesus in my life. Lord, I can never
thank you enough for this precious little baby growing inside me. He is such a
wonderful gift and as I prepare for his arrival, I pray that you grant me the
confidence and strength before and during my delivery. Let no danger harm me
and my baby. I pray that you bless my baby with good health, precious mind and
rightful attitudes so that he may grow into a delightful child in your eyes.
Let your Holy Spirit guide us in raising a wonderful child, filled with the
knowledge and goodness of you dear Father. These I ask in the holy name of the
infant Jesus, my Lord, Amen.
