Let us pray: Dear Lord in Heaven, creator and provider, we
pray that you enlighten the minds of our rich brothers and sisters. Help them
to turn into you in prayers and seek your holiness above anything else. Make
them realize dear Father that all the wonderful things they enjoy are all
fruits of your grace. Make them understand Lord that being rich in this world
is completely different from being rich towards God. May they have the heart to
use their riches and persevere in acting with accordance to your will. Take away
Lord their arrogance, greed and selfishness. May they learn to share their
abundance and use their wealth in nation building. These we pray in Jesus’
name. Amen.

Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. (1 Timothy 6:17)
