Let us pray: Our Father in Heaven, we beseech you. Please come
to our aid. We are living in despair. Please
help us break free of the violence in our home, community and country. Help us
restore peace in unity in this land. Let those who committed acts of violence
kneel down in forgiveness and pray for their sins. Let them seek for your mercy
and the pardon of all the people they have hurt. And may those victims find it
in their hearts to start their lives again by first learning to forgive their
oppressors. Send your spirit oh Lord to guide us in our complete
transformation. May we finally settle all misunderstanding in the past and work
for your greater glory. Amen.
