Let us pray: Lord Almighty, as we celebrate Grandparents Day, we pray in your mighty name that may you look after all the grandparents in this world with love and compassion. We pray for their safety and protection always as they grow older. May they continue to be the source of enlightenment, enrichment and inspiration to their families, church, community and the whole society. May the wisdom and virtues that they have imparted remains and lives on. Inspire us Lord, especially the young ones to treat them with utmost respect. Lastly, we pray that may each family member love and support them until the day of their last breath. These we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
