Let us pray: Dear Father, forgive us for the callous manner
in which we too often treat our fellowmen. We know deep in our hearts that we
are guilty for our indifference and negligence to the terrible things that is
now happening our society. We chose to turn blind and deaf even when abuse is
happening just in front of us. Empower us Lord to stand bravely for what is
right. Make us an advocate of freedom and peace. Grant us the courage and
strength to report injustices in our land. Amen.
