Let us pray: Lord, it is so sad to see these days how many
pets and animals are mistreated. They are not fed properly. They get sick and
left unattended. They are beaten up by their owners. They are not treated with
love and care. Forgive us Lord for not doing our part in protecting the lives
of your creation. Forgive us for overlooking our responsibilities because we
were too greedy and selfish. Help us through the power of Holy Spirit restore
the balance in nature. Amen.
