Let us pray: Lord Jesus, your parables and teachings taught us to be compassionate, humble and wise. Even with our enemies and transgressors you taught us to repay them with kindness. Although it is a challenge to forgive and understand those who do us wrongly, we pray for the strength of our character. May we always treat each other with the same gentleness that you have shown us. May we inspire one another to become obedient to God’s commandments. And for those who refuse to follow your teachings, may we find it in our hearts to pray for them. Amen.
