Let us pray: Jesus, our merciful Savior, forgive your people
who have focused their eyes on earthly riches to the extent of abusing the life
and dignity of their people. Forgive them Lord during those times when they are
savoring the glory of their own success while the small people who work for
them are left suffering and hungry. Let them realize Lord the gravity of their
wrong doings and may you their selfishness and greed into charitable acts and
empathy. Amen.
