Let us pray:
Most Holy Lord, take my hands and lead me in becoming a better parent to my
children. Fill me with your love so that I may raise my sons and daughters
according to your will. Let me bring them up with unwavering faith so that they
too will glorify your name. Help me in teaching them the true values of a
Christian. May they learn to value family, friendship and camaraderie with
other people Amen.

Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them. (Deuteronomy 4:9)
