Why Pray the Scriptures?

The wicked are overthrown and are no more, but the house of the righteous stands firm. (Proverbs 12:7)

Let us pray: Most Holy Father, I pray that your eternal providence will shine through our home. Bless everyone who reside in it and bind us with compassion. May each of my family members fulfill our Christian duties and proclaim your glory. Send us your Holy Spirit to guide our words and actions. And may the Lord Jesus reign in our hearts so that we live forever in peace with you our Father. Amen.
