Let
us pray: Our loving Messiah, today we pray for our officers who are deployed in
Afghanistan, Iraq, South Africa and others parts of the world. They chose to be
away from their loveones to protect others from violence and oppression. Fill
them Lord Jesus with your loving protection. Shield them with your strength and
keep them warmth during cold and lonely nights. We are very grateful for their
service and dedication and we will always pray for their safe homecoming. Amen

He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil, he will dwell on the heights; his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks; his bread will be given him; his water will be sure.
