Let us pray: Lord,
when I was younger, I experienced a lot of injustices and maltreatment from the
people who raised me. Although I cried so many times when I was little, I was
still grateful that I was provided a home, an education and my basis needs.
However, now that I am a parent myself, I don’t want my children to experience
the pains I went through. Help me Lord in raising them properly. Remind me that
life is wonderful. Let me tend to them with gentleness and understanding. And
when they make mistakes, teach me to discipline them with love. Amen
