Let us pray: Oh Lord, here is your child, dedicating my whole self in the profession that you have led me. In this calling and ministry, where I encounter distress, sufferings and loss, teach me to become a man of comfort and strength for others. Teach me to not just simply treat patients but to heal their sorrows and pains. Guide me through your Holy Spirit so that this humble servant of yours may glorify you with the best that I can be. Amen.
