Why Pray the Scriptures?

Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5)

Let us pray: Lord Jesus, you are the world's greatest healer and comforter. Through your power, you gave sight to the blind, granted strength to those who are crippled, healed those who are dying and even raise those who are already dead. More importantly, you healed renewed the spirit of those who already lost their hope. Nothing is impossible to you Lord that's why I pray that I may use my profession as a doctor in miracles in your name. Help me help those who are in need and inspire me to lighten their burdens. Amen
