Let us pray: Loving God, you have given us
grandparents who helped our parents in raising us so well apart from spoiling
our needs and wants. Even in their old age, they continue to impart their
wisdom to us. They guide us in our everyday activities and warn us from
possible setbacks and problems. Forgive us Lord for sometimes we just take them
for granted without considering their feelings. We disregard their words and
pretend that we don’t need their advice anymore which is completely wrong. Please
help us show our deep appreciation for their guidance, kindness, understanding
and support. Teach us Lord to make them feel that they important and needed in
our lives. Amen.
