Why Pray the Scriptures?

If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. (Psalm 139:9-10)

Let us pray: Father in Heaven, please be our guide and our protector on the journey we are about to take. May you continue watching over us. We pray that you keep us away from accidents. May you free us from anything that harms our body and spirit. Grant us your grace whenever we get tired and afraid. Amen.
