Let us pray: God our Father, enlighten me always so that I
may recognize the purpose of my profession. May the thoughts and feelings that
occupy me only those that concerns the welfare of our patients. Discourage me
from feeling arrogant and selfish. Disrupt me when I start to feel tired and
discontented. Grant me a willing heart so that I would heed to the advice of my
my elders and supervisors. Grant me understanding and compassion for the sick
and the dying. Fill my soul Lord with gratefulness for your never-ending
guidance. Amen.
