Let us pray: Heavenly Father, whose glory fills the
whole creation, and whose presence we find wherever we go, we pray that You
protect and preserve the lives of our soldiers who are about to be stationed in
a far away land. In this journey, surround them with your loving care and
protect them from every danger. Inspire them to become an agent of peace, love
and compassion on a daily basis. And lastly, may you bring them in safety to
their journey's end. These we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
