Let us pray: Most loving Father, to raise up a teen is quite a challenge at times. Guide me and teach me Lord not to be too strict or too lenient. Help me understand their thinking and emotions. Show me when to reprove and when to praise them. Make me considerate and gentle when listening to their reasons but make me firm Lord in insisting the necessary rules at home. Grant us all the virtues we need to lead them by word and deeds in the path of righteousness. Amen.
