Let us pray: Dear Jesus, I need your enlightenment today. I
find it so hard to believe and trust our government officials already because
of the daily news I read and watch involving them in different illegal
activities. How can I submit myself to work with honesty and dignity if our
very own leaders are corrupt and dishonest? How can I have the will to promote
the welfare of this nation if they themselves are ones destroying it. Speak to
me Lord and tell me what to do. I don’t want to keep ill feelings for deep
inside me, I still want my country to succeed. Amen.
