Why Pray the Scriptures?

But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead; he will surely take me to himself. (Psalm 49:15)

Let us pray: Most loving Jesus this Christmas, we pray for your guidance and wisdom. We have become so complaisant and relied so much on your compassion and forgiveness that we ignored God’s commandments. Help us return God’s favor of unconditional love. Create in us a faithful and happy soul that we may work hard for our salvation and ticket for the kingdom. Amen.
