Let us pray: Father God, we are who we are because of You, therefore without You and your grace our lives will be incomplete. Today, we ask that you always be by our side as you have always been. It is because of your unconditional love and promise of everlasting life that we continue to aspire to follow the footsteps of Jesus. It is challenging Lord with all the distractions along that way and so we pray earnestly that You guide us. And when we go astray because we give in to the false promises of the world, bring us back to our senses and out balance in our lives. Take control of our hearts’ desires. Amen.
