Let us pray: Lord Jesus Christ, your own suffering brought us life and eternity. You have shown us what love and sacrifice truly mean. Today, we pray for Sudan, Syria, Philippines, Iraq, Gaza, Pakistan and all other nations greatly affected by internal struggles and terror. May the suffering of their people bring out the best in everyone. Inspire us to encourage them to hope and to aim for survival. Heal them Lord with their wounds. May you bring into action other nations to care and commit to ending all the wars. Amen.
