Why Pray the Scriptures?

The LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:25-26)

Let us pray: Shine upon your people Dear Lord. Reveal to us your gentleness and compassion. Grant us your generosity, compassion, healing, and forgiveness as we restore the world with love and peace. Amen.
