Why Pray the Scriptures?

For my life is spent with sorrow And my years with sighing; My strength has failed because of my iniquity, And my body has wasted away. (Psalm 31:10)

Let us pray: Lord I worship and glorify You. You bless the souls of those who are heavily burdened. Please welcome me in your embrace. Fill me with your strength, courage, and faith. Lead me where I am supposed to go and direct my actions that I may do the right things in spite of my difficult situation. Amen.
