Why Pray the Scriptures?

Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:7)

   

Let us pray: Heavenly Father who reigns supreme, fill our hearts with your compassion and benevolence this Christmas season. Let this year a time of giving back to the community. Teach us to share our blessings with those who are in desperate situations. May Christ's ultimate love and sacrifice inspire us to be selfless. Amen.
