Why Pray the Scriptures?

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)

  

Let us pray: Lord Jesus, gather me in your most holy presence. Illuminate my mind and grant me wisdom and truth. Strengthen my faith that I may always seek you first in everything that I do. I offer you my life and with humility and sincerity, I will follow You Lord. Amen.
