Let us pray: Lord God, every day I witness and hear terrible news all over the world. Children are getting sick and dying, hundreds of men sacrifice their lives and fight in a battle they do not even own, women are getting abused, families are stuck in poverty and more and more innocent people are mistreated by authorities and the rich. Your people may not understand the reasons behind these many sufferings. They may even lose hope but I pray Father to watch over us always. Send your Holy Spirit to nourish our souls. Give us the strength to endure all these trials. And I pray Lord that one day you will grant us your mercy and release us from our captivity. These I pray in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

"If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed." This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God's people. (Revelations 13:10)
