LET US PRAY: King of kings, when will we learn that our nations will
never get along if we don’t recognize who is in charge? How can we convince our
governments and people on the other side of the globe that God is the final
authority? That Christ is the judge who sits at the Father’s side? And nothing
would exist without your power and guidance? We are too quick to forget that
you are the eternal one who gave eternity to all. You are the loving one who
taught us how to love. You are the forgiving one who gives us the perfect
example of how to forgive others. Lord, please help us all to remember that we
are not in control. When we humbly accept this fact, then we have a chance for
real direction in our world. Please open our human leaders’ eyes so that they
may see the one who gives all, does all and is all. Amen.
