LET US PRAY: God, Paul faced A LOT in his ministry. He was persecuted, jailed, starved, assaulted, and so much more. And how can we forget his temporary blindness? You really got his attention with that one! I can never compare myself to Paul, but I do know that it’s easier to say, “Why me,” instead of, “Why not me?” If a burden is placed upon my physical or spiritual health, I pray it can be used to glorify your name. Paul often spoke of a thorn in his side – some think it was blindness, others think it was arthritis, while others could argue it was an internal ailment – but no matter what, he saw this is an evangelical tool; a way to bring himself, and others, closer to you. I pray this day that anything currently in my life, or something that might appear later, that I might see as a curse or undue burden, can be an inroad into my heart and the hearts of others. Amen.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. (2 Corinthians 12:10 KJV)
