Let us pray: O God Almighty, you gave us the commandment to honor our father and mother. Today, I make a pledge to grow in obedience to your words each day. Let me pray for their safety and good health. May they have more years to live on earth so that I can show them how much I appreciate and love them. Mai I bring comfort and joy as they near old age. May I openly tell them how grateful I am for their love and sacrifices. Protect them Father from all the dangers and temptations in this world. Keep them always in your peace and love. Amen.
