Let us pray: Most loving Father, I know that you have led me into the teaching profession because more than anyone else, you believe that I can do it. I admit Lord that I get tired sometimes doing the same routine of talking in class, watching over the safety of the kids while they are playing or doing experiments, reading notes and checking papers, listening to countless petty arguments and dealing with difficult parents. Sometimes I also feel that I don’t get paid enough for my hard work and dedication. I am truly sorry Father for feeling these sometimes but you know what’s in my heart and that is at the end of each day I love what I do and I am very eager to see the same faces with genuine smiles again the next day. I pray that you continue inspiring me Lord to do what I am set to do. Amen.

Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. (James 3:1)
