Let us pray: Dear Jesus, you love the innocence of every child. I pray that your ways will lead me in becoming the kind of parent you wanted me to be. Teach me Lord on how to help and instruct my child. Direct me at all times in the responsibilities of parenthood. I pray for guidance and wisdom that I may create an atmosphere of love and forgiveness in our own home. May I learn to pray for your light before I give rules or punishments. Help me Lord in preparing my child with the challenges of the future. Grant him confidence and faith Lord. Lastly, I pray that even in old age, he would remember the goodness of your words. Amen.
