Let us pray: Lord God, from the first moment that I learned that I was carrying your most precious gift, I have prayed and promised to be the best parent that I can be to my child. I just want to thank you for this wonderful blessing and opportunity. Now that I am a parent, help me Father in bringing him up the right way. Help me in teaching him your commandments. Help me in showing him the necessary virtues. Grant my child your grace and strength for him to obey your will. Amen.
