Let us pray: Jesus my Savior, I have sinned by spending too much of my life focusing on my career so that I could finally buy and own the things I never get to experience when I was younger. Forgive me Lord for I have forgotten and completely neglected my own family and my spirituality. I am ashamed Lord for thinking that donating to charities will compensate my lack of time and enthusiasm with you. I am truly sorry Lord. I have realized that money is not everything. Please grant me another chance to correct my actions. Renew me Lord and help me fix my priorities in life. Amen.
