Let us pray: God of heaven and earth, we bow before you in prayers. In this troubled times, we pray for your mercy and compassion. Transform oh Lord all those who commit acts of violence, those who curse and speak harsh and hurting words, those who discriminate others, and those who are easy in taking the lives of innocent people. Let your powerful spirit take over their bodies and purify them so that they may never sin again. Likewise, inspire us to become your agents of justice and peace.
