Let us pray: Lord God, in your mercy and compassion please hear our prayers. In celebration for Labor Day, we ask you to bless all men and women who are part of the working force of this country. Grant them the courage, strength and perseverance Lord most especially those who took jobs ignoring the dignity of their personhood. Inspire our brothers and sisters who exert physical efforts everyday so that we can have bountiful harvests, clean public toilets and streets, highly-maintained sewers and pipelines, and safe bridges and buildings. Give them the sense of joy and pride in what they do and reward them Lord for their commitment and hardwork. Amen.
