Let us pray: Loving Father, nothing is impossible to you. Let me lift up to you my sick father. There are days when I can no longer bear his cries of agony. It pains me that I cannot do much to ease his sufferings. If only I could take and carry all his burdens. But I remain optimistic Lord that you will end his illness. I pray that you keep us all emotionally and spiritually strong in this critical situation. Fill us with hope and patience. Shield us from anger and resentment. Help us realize that there is a better purpose for all of our sufferings. May the light of Jesus Christ keep us faithful always. Amen.
