Let us pray: Dear Lord, I am
just a young soldier who lacks experience but is deeply driven by the desire to
protect my country’s freedom and the lives of my fellowmen. I pray that you
guide and protect me when I am called for battle. I pray for courage, strength
a heart that forgives my aggressor. Lastly, I pray for peace to finally rule
among all nations so that greed and violence will not come to an end. Amen.
