Let us pray: Most Merciful Christ, forgive us for the sins
of the world. We have hurt you all over again, never learning from our past
mistakes. Deliver us Lord once more. This world needs you during these times of
turmoil. Direct and lead the leaders of this nation. Bring them into concrete
actions in solving the country’s problems so that citizens will no longer sort
to crime and violence. Help us Lord end this state of chaos. Send your Holy
Spirit and awaken us from our wrong doings. Let your righteousness prevail.

Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these.
