Let us pray: Lord Jesus, you have loved and
cared for the elderly as much as you embraced the young ones. Today, as we
celebrate Grandparent’s Day, we pray for the blessings of all grandparents.
They have witnesses so many glorious and devastating events in the past. Their
lives have been enriched with ups and downs. May they live a life of happiness
and tranquility in their old age. May their children and grandchildren provide
them comfort and support. May their insights guide the younger generations. And
may their faithfulness to the Lord serve as an inspiration. Amen.
