Why Pray the Scriptures?

“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:18-19)



Let us pray: Lord God, master of all creations, I trust everything in your hands as I welcome the New Year. Never did I doubt your grand plans for me. I can let go of the past and happily welcome another year. I am confident that something great is in store for me. Thank you God for being our Holy Father. May your graciousness and compassion fill our lives always. Amen.
