Why Pray the Scriptures?

Blessed are those who do not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers. (Psalms 1:1)

Let us pray: Beloved Jesus, fill my heart with joy and inspiration. Let me see and focus on the things that truly matter. Help me stay away from greed and selfishness that may lead me into trouble and sin. Amen.
