LET US PRAY: Dear Lord, thank you for allowing me to live. It is a
blessing to walk the earth that you walked. Even though life can be difficult, I
am grateful that each day gives us the chance to love you and others; to
experience the beauty of life. But living is not simply breathing air into my
lungs another day here on earth. Not even close. Because the wages of sin were
once death, life ended when we no longer held stewardship over the fertile
lands you created. When Jesus sacrificed his life, death was defeated and sin
was cast aside. Now, we can wake up every morning with the knowledge that you
are by our side. We can go to sleep at night knowing that eternity was
graciously given to us, too. Thank you for life, your grace and the gift of
eternity with you! Amen.
