Let us pray: Lord, I recognize my role and duties as a parent. I do love my children but sometimes it is so difficult to instill discipline without scolding and punishing them for all the bad things that they commit. I pray Lord to grant me wisdom in the process. May I encourage them to do good without building resentment towards me. Teach me Lord on how to explain what is right from wrong in a way that they will appreciate it when they grow up. May I set perfect examples in front of them so that they too will be inspired to be righteous. Amen.
